You are my favorite person ever. Why, you ask? Because you have come here to find out how you can sponsor me in the marathon. I... I think I love you. I have done everything that I can to make this as easy as possible. If, however, you find that what is available to you here is not sufficient, please send me an e-mail and we will work something out. Otherwise, pick only ONE of the methods listed below (I recommend number 1), and let me know if you have any problems or questions! 1. Download and print the donor form. You will need the industry standard Acrobat Reader to utilize this form. Don't be put off - it's a free download and the installation is very quick, so if you don't have it, download it here: Acrobat Reader. Once you complete the installation, click the link below to download the form. donorfrm.pdf - 28.9 KB 2. E-mail me your mailing address. I will send a form to you that you can fill out and return with your donation. 3. Lastly, if you want to make a donation but just don't want to deal with the rigamarole, you can just write a check made out directly to me, Kenner Estes, and I will deposit it and then write a check for the same amount to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I don't really recommend this option for two reasons: 1) I am not an organization with tax-free status; if you write a check out to me directly I cannot provide you with the documentation for your tax deduction at the end of the year. 2) It just seems sort of scam-like, like "write the check to me, and SUUUUURE, I'll give it over to the charitable organization! (wink, wink)" I'd be far more comfortable with you writing your check directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, but I'm willing to work with you if you'd rather not do so for some reason.
Once you have the form, just fill it out accordingly, providing either a check, money order, or credit card info, sign it, then mail it to: Kenner Estes Don't forget to check and see if your workplace offers gift matching -- if they do this can considerably increase your donation at no cost to you! Talk to your HR department to see if this option is available to you. If it is, just fill out the donor form (making sure to check the box indicating that your company will match your gift), fill out your company's gift matching form, and send both to me. I will subsequently submit your donation and matching form to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and they will in turn submit them for matching. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
