Hey there, everyone. So this week went fairly well. I was able to do all of the running, and my physical therapy seems to be going well. Yesterday we just had an 8-miler. It was a hill training so I just went to the gym with my girlfriend and did 8 on the treadmill instead. Today's a rest day, and a happy Labor Day weekend to everyone out there. This week is a bit of a stepped-up running schedule. I think (I'm not looking at the schedule right now, but I'm pretty sure) that we are going to be running 50 minutes on the running days instead of 45. I'm not sure if there is a difference in the cross-training time or not. We are supposed to register for and run the half-marathon next weekend, but I think that I am just going to try to get a few people who may want to go for an informal, 13-mile run instead. The half-marathon costs $$ and I have run in large races before so I don't really need the introduction to the process, I just need to do the miles. Otherwise, I'm feeling pretty good. My legs are okay, I'm taping my right knee every time I run and every time I do the cross-training, and I think that it's really helping. Physically, I feel good. I have to run now, thanks for checking in! -K Click here to view the Training Log archives! |
